Nació en México, D.F..., el día 09 de noviembre de 1954.


Estudió Arquitectura en la facultad de la U.N.A.M., 1974-1978.


En 1965, bajo la orientación de su padre, el maestro Carlos Ayala Vallarta, en la Ciudad de México inicia su aprendizaje de dibujo y pintura. Posteriormente continua con su hermano Carlos Ayala Gress y mas adelante con el maestro Armando Ahuatzi.



Ha participado en más de 100 exposiciones tanto colectivas como individuales, dentro y fuera de la Republica Mexicana.
